Ideas developed during the previous events resulted in a total of 4 AIAA and 2 IEEE publications.

Talent Sourcing

Be introduced to the most talented and motivated young engineers and scientists both from the US and internationally. Over 800 applicants will graduate within the next few years and will be in search of employment. Previous participants now work for past sponsors such as Lockheed Martin, SpaceX,  JPL, etc.

Collaboration

The Caltech Space Challenge provides a unique opportunity for students to work with experts in the field and to collaborate with like-minded peers from all around the world. Parley new relationships  (or reignite older ones) with others in the industry and/or academia into new collaborations.

Outreach

The Caltech Space Challenge is a fully-funded event available to all students around the world irrespective of their socio-economic status. The Challenge has previously hosted students from over 30 countries around the world. Sponsorship of this event would contribute to the dissolution of financial barriers in educational opportunities for students interested in space.
